Whether you’re really stuck in traffic or not, Rakani personified the notion into a stylish timepiece. The design utilizes Swarovski crystals to represent cars stuck in traffic, while the hour bars from 4 to 8 o’clock symbolize evening rush hour. No matter what your reason for being late is, with this elegant timepiece you’ll always arrive fashionably late.
What Time? was created to remind us time doesn’t always need to be so structured. The fallen numbers represent breaking that standard mold, while the unconventional design is embodied in a classic style to show you can have fun and look fashionable doing it.
One~ish, Three~ish, Six~ish. The widely known concept of ish is brought to life in this timepiece. Ish itself means to be approximate, while still knowing the exact time. With that notion in mind we utilized approximate symbols for both the hours and minutes in an expressively elegant design.
Have you ever needed just 5 more minutes? Now you’ll always have them with the +5 by Rakani. The design features a custom minute hand that spans over 5 minutes worth of time, while the 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock hour bars form a subtle + symbol. The red stripes provide that sporty edge so no matter where you’re rushing off to you’ll always have those +5 minutes.
Rakani redefines the perception of running behind as this otherwise taboo notion has been transformed into elegant designs. The concept is uniquely expressed with both the numbers and movement of the timepiece running counterclockwise.
Whether you’re almost there, still driving or haven’t even left yet you will always be Right Around The Corner with this timepiece. The exaggerated 10 o’clock X marks the spot around the corner while the detailed checkered pattern represents the path you’re on.
